Work in Progress

The following are some of the research tasks that keep me busy these days:

  • Collaboration with several colleagues from UNR on grant applications. Largely, my role is to provide software engineering and human-computer interaction input to these applications.
  • Work on several funded projects - one for ONR (led by Dr. Sushil Louis); another for Quadrant One, Inc., Arlington, VA; and a third one for Bally Nevada.
  • Recently, I started work on a project funded by NASA (PI, Dr. Chris Fritsen).
  • Collaboration with Dr. Kendra Cooper, from University of Texas at Dallas, on various software engineering topics.
  • Collaboration with my former colleague at Dalhousie, Dr. Marcel Karam on topics pertaining to both software engineering and human-computer interaction.
  • Elaboration of several software-engineering and human-computer interaction topics for graduate theses (on top of advising 12 grad and 3 undergrad students).
  • Work on a book chapter for Wiley & Sons.
  • Work on a couple of journal publications.
  • Work on several conference papers on which I'm either the first, the second, the third, the fourth, or the fifth author ...
