Conclusion & Future Work

The system accomplishes its goal of running at real time frame rates and the background subtraction is strong enough for most circumstances. For the future the tracking mechanism should incorporate more events. Namely, what happens when a person walks into the area, picks up another object, and carries it away. Also, the current program has been tuned for a few scenes and should be tested over a wide variety of scenes to increase it's robustness.
