Members of Team 4
Steven Christman
My name is Steven Christman and I am a senior in computer information engineering. For high
school, I attended the Advanced Technologies Academy in Las Vegas and received an advanced
diploma with a certificate of completion of their computer science program. Outside of
education I have interned at two defense contractors as a computer programmer. With this
background I bring to my group the hardware knowledge to tackle the hardware component
required by ABET for the CIE majors in senior projects. Also, my real world experience has
shown me how to develop on a large scale project, and work in a software team. Over the years
of my education, I have developed in Visual Basic, C++, Java, C#, flash action script, HTML, and
assembly. Lastly, I have wrote code using windows packet capture and sockets which may be
useful in this networking based project.
Daniel Johnson
Daniel Johnson is a Computer and Information Engineer senior at the University of Nevada,
Reno. Originally from the Lake Tahoe area, he has had a long standing interest and passion for
computers and creating ways to use computers to help people. He has worked for several years
in an internship and brings a host of skills to the project.
Eric Marantette
Eric Marantette is a senior at the University of Nevada, Reno who is currently working towards
his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. His ongoing internship with International Gaming
Technology (IGT) has given him hands-on experience with working in a team environment,
software implementation, extensive testing, and documentation. He is proficient in C, C++, and
C#, and he has experience writing GUI applications using Win32, MFC, and .Net. This experience
will aid in his contributions to the GUI component of the project, and he has taken a networking
class which will allow him to contribute to the network data representation.
Brian Tackitt
Brian Tackitt is a senior Computer Science major at U.N.R and will be graduating in May 2008.
Brian currently has a cumulative GPA of 3.58 and has made Dean’s List for the Fall 2006 and
Spring 2007 semesters. Brian’s main focus is on web programming and development. For this
project he will primarily work on user interface programming as well as designing and creating
algorithms to analyze the gathered network information.
