Remote Access Software

This section contains links to various remote access applications that can be configured to connect to any Computer Science & Engineering server(s). To connect to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering servers, follow these steps:

Downlooad an application listed under the operating system of your computer
Install the application
Follow the instructions on the Remote Access Configuration page to access your account

WinSCP
A graphical, open source SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) and SCP (Secure CoPy) client for Windows using SSH (Secure SHell)

SSH
A secure login program that provides secure remote terminal sessions and file transfers

PuTTY
An implementation of Telnet and SSH that allows remote, secure terminal sessions

UNIX

OpenSSH
A secure login program that provides a secure remote session
