Roy Hemenway

I am a graduate of the Computer Science program at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a minor in Business Administration. My studies have given me the tools I need to help organize and manage the diverse skill sets and personalities of my fellow team members. Relevant course work includes CS 480 Computer graphics where myself and a team mate created a computerized island and a character that could move about the island. I am currently employed by 3G studios, as a scripter, in the field of video game development; this has given me a good grasp on the process of developing this kind of software. My primary programming skills are in C++, but I am also familiar with Lau for scripting.

Matthew Sgambati

I have taken many programming courses. I am familiar with Visual Basic, Java, C++, and C#. I did an internship with General Electric where I learned many things about the corporate and many new things about programming, like how to use delegates. I have only created two games on my own, one was an ASCII based shooter for the PC and another was a side scrolling shooter for the PC. I am an average programmer. I am not an expert with any language, but I understand the concepts and how to use many languages. I am good at organizing things, whether it is groups, papers, etc. I will be involved with every step of the project. My hope is that the group will do most of the programming together so that we can bounce ideas of each other while we program, sort of like extreme programming. So, hopefully everyone will have the same level of involvement.

Joseph Mahsman

I am a Computer Science major. Relevant elective courses I worked for two years as a system administrator for the Engineering Computing Center. I worked for three months as a programmer for the Division of Earth and Ecosystem Sciences (DEES) at the Desert Research Institute (DRI). I am currently working for the Division of Atmospheric Sciences (DAS) at DRI, under the Center for Advanced Visualization, Computation, and Modeling (CAVCaM), where I have been working for a year as an undergraduate amongst graduate students. For the CAVCaM, I have re-engineered SpeedTree, a package for rendering realistic trees, to work in the CAVE. Through this work I have gained experience working with the CAVE technology. I have a couple years of experience developing games as a hobby. My primary programming skill is in C++, but I am experienced in C# using the .NET framework.
