MY GRAND PLAN: To fix up this web page (slowly but surely)!
[There is no longer any incentive to do this now since CSE emeritus
faculty web pages have been disconnected from the department web page as of
the 2013-2014 academic year.]
CURRENTLY: Long since gave up on 3x3 Busy Beaver problem
and conceded to the astounding progress by others.
My most recent interest has been the behavior of
TurNing Machines. The results I obtained were never posted, but
I will post what I find when and if I get
back to implementing my ideas for an automated balanced search of
the generation tree on a cluster of networked computers

AS A RESULT: Am spending late night hours cursing gcc
on my iBook G4 and sometimes watching Craig Ferguson on Late Late TV for
comic relief.
AND AS YOU CAN TELL I am now totally obsolete and have
given up on making any plans. And I have a MacBook Pro now, and even it has become obsolete. (Who was that Craig Ferguson anyway?)
