Background Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Vision Laboratory at University of Nevada, Reno. I am conducting my research as a research assistant under valuable supervision of Dr. George Bebis in the field of Biometric Systems. My dissertation is about Hand-based Recognition/Authentication Systems. I got my B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, IRAN, in 2001 and 2004, respectively. I worked in Image Processing Laboratory directed by Dr. Shohreh Kasaei in Sharif University of Technology.
