Get Started With Crypto

Spend some time learning about Crypto - there are millions of YouTube videos that can help get you up to speed.

With so many videos, who should I follow?
A few of my favorites.

• Max Wright goes by the handle Contrarian Dude on YouTube
• Max also has a newsletter group called Success Council (join for $500) - his promo video is amazing
• Michael Saylor - CEO of MicroStrategy - He's the #1 advocate for BTC in the corporate world - He took all the extra money from his company and invested it in BTC - then he borrowed more money and invested it in BTC too - and did it multiple times. Michael does not create videos but there are many of him being interviewed by others.

What do I use to buy Crypto?
You may need to start with a debit card as some banks and credit cards are blocking crypto payments and transfers.

Where do I buy Crypto?

How much should I start with?
Start small ($1000 in BTC and/or ETH - $200 in other altcoins) and do your own research until you get comfortable with what you're investing in - make sure you can handle the wild volatility swings with Crypto - BTC regularly drops 25% to 50% in a week - altcoins can drop 90% - you'll be surprised how much this messes with your emotions until you get used to it (probably not until after you have been through a full 4-year market cycle and you're playing with house money)

How high will BTC go?
No one knows but there are lots of opinions - Bitcoin has a 4-year cycle - every 4 years the block reward for finding a new block gets cut in half - Here's a great chart to see the effects of this over the past two cycles - no guarantee this cycle will be the same but it gives you an idea how high BTC could go during this cycle
