In 1982, I was born in Amman, Jordan where I was raised and got my elementary, middle and high school education. My Dad and Mom are retired, he used to be a Bank Consultant, making scary decisions, and she used to be a Math and Science Teacher. I have an Accountant, a Banker and a Graphic Designer sisters. I also have a Film Director and an Accountant-to-be brothers.

In 2004, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Balqa Applied University, Salt City, Jordan.

In Amman, I worked as a graphic designer for 3 years. I am the first Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Instructor in Jordan. I taught several graphic design courses at the Balqa Applied University. I was also a member of the team who established the graphic design department at Alquds College, where I also taught several computer courses. In 2005, I moved to Reno, where I have started my Master of Science in Computer Science program at the University of Nevada, Reno, UNR, and then continued to get the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2007, my beautiful Amal and I got married. We had our wedding party back home in Amman. She moved with me to Reno to start a new challenging and enjoyable life.
