Blue Sands is an action platformer game that I developed as part of the Embedded games class. Blue Sands was developed using C# and XNA and is playable on the computer as well as the Xbox 360. The game play is very simple all the user has to do is navigate the levels to find the crystal shards. The player can attack the monsters or avoid them all together.
OpenGL/GLSL Projects
Pong
Pong is a simple remake of the original pong game. Pong was developed as part of the Computer Graphics course at the University of Nevada Reno. The game play is every simple the user can play against another player or against an AI. Pong was programed with C++, OpenGL and GLSL.
Sketch Pad
Sketch Pad was developed after Pong using the same libraries. Sketch Pad is a very simple geometry based drawing program. The user can make simple shapes as well as choose the color that they want to use.
Air Hockey
Air Hockey was developed after Sketch Pad along with a classmate, Alex Jones. The program consist the models and textures. The AI needs some work as there are some bugs and is almost unbeatable, it is fun never the less.
Blind Maze
This was the final project that Alex and I (Omid) developed for the Computer Graphics course. The purpose of this project was to experiment with lighting and shadowing using the GLSL.
reCLAIMation is an educational game that teaches students and children about gold mining and its dangers to the environment. The game has a maze component to it where the player will navigate the field with a given number of moves. After each level the use is given some information then at the end of the game the player is presented with a small quiz to test what they have learned. The game was developed by both computer science and journalism major. The game was developed using Game Maker 8.
