Welcome to CS 201. Although this class focuses primarily on C++ programming, it is
also meant to help develop logical-thinking, & problem-solving skills.

We will be usingWebCT this semester to supplement the class. I plan to post important
announcements, administer occasional quizzes, and have a discussion forum via WebCT. If you are not familiar with WebCT, don't worry. I will go over it in class once the account is properly setup.

Also, the ECC lab will (hopefully) be offering free (you pay for shipping) Microsoft software including the compiler we are using this semester. This is not yet available. However, I don't want you to run out and buy Visual C++ .NET and find out a week later that you can get it for free. I will let you know as soon as the software is available.
