Short Bio

Ahsan Ali is a postdoctoral appointee at the Data Science and Learning division of Argonne National Laboratory. He completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Nevada Reno under Dr. Feng Yan. His areas of interests are Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Computer Systems, Performance Optimization.

• December, 2019 I will be presenting our paper It's not a Sprint, it's a Marathon: Stretching Multi-resource Burstable Performance in Public Clouds (industry track) at 20th international ACM/IFIP/USENIX Middleware conference( Middleware) 2019, UC Davis, USA.

• October 31, 2019 Awarded Middleware 2019 travel grant.
