Jun Yi

I am currently a CS Ph.D. student at University of Nevada Reno. I am advised by Dr. Feng Yan who is director of Intelligent Data and Systems Lab (IDS Lab). My recent research interests are Deep Learning Systems, Cloud Computing, Distributed System, Federated System, Cloud Computering, Big Data Systems, Software System Design and development. My research goal is to develop adaptive consistency mechanisms for deep learning applications by exploring the trade-offs between performance and consistency.

I have worked at Nanyang Technological University Singapore as Assistant Engineer on various research and industrial projects. Before joining UNR, I recevied my B.S. and my Master from Southwest Jiaotong University China, where I studied and worked on EE and won the Outstanding Graduates in 2011 and 2013.
