  Background

Rong Hu received the B.S. degree in Remote Sensing and Image processing  from Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping , the M.S. degree in Advanced Surveying form SouthWest JiaoTong University .  Now she is currently a graduated student and a research assistant in Department of Computer Science of University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). Prior to joining UNR,  she was a research engineer in China, and worked as a software engineer in Japan.

• Digital image measurement: "Automatic inspection of the track profile"

• Outstanding women prize of SiChuan Province, China, 1988
• 1st level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test, Japan, 1996 ( the highest level in 4 levels)
