Design your modules for the project. Write a design document for the module for which you are responsible. The form, purpose, and content of a design document are given on the first link below and will be discussed in class. A more filled out example can be found under the second link. I expect that you will have questions that are specific to your module. Do not hesitate to ask them in class or when you see me outside of class.
Writing is hard. Seek the opinions of people in your team, outside your team, and in other classes as to the clarity and completeness of your document. You should be able to show this document to a potential employer as a sample of your work. When you start out as a software engineer/developer, the first work product that you will be evaluated on will be your presentation and defense of a design document and subsequent revisions. The second work product will be your implementation of a design.
Please add your design document to your project's cvs repository, in a "doc" directory. I plan to check this on Wednesday the 28th of Nov.
