You are invited to the Department of Computer Science's Senior Projects. This is an annual presentation and demonstration of projects done by Computer Science students and caps their senior year. There will be presentations and students will be demoing their products (on demand) throughout the day.

There will be food and drink

This class utilizes skills that Senior Computer Science majors have learned in their course of study to produce a significant software or embedded systems application. Teams of two to five students go through the entire software engineering and software development cycle and deliver an industrial strength, useful, marketable product.

This year teams are developing products that

train miners in evacuation procedures
create a pluggable document editor
manage benefits
author casino promotions
author telephone and web surveys
manage ski lodges or golf courses
manage digital photos
map forest fires

These projects run the range from open source to for-profit. Some teams have started up companies, others will. If you are interested in learning more about the class, the students, and projects, follow the links above and/or talk to me
