Modify the Spot applet by adding two buttons that toggle:

• between a filled rectangle and a circle.
• between red and blue as the color of the drawn item.

Here is my solution to the assignment.

• You will need a Spot.html to view your applet under netscape. Type

        % appletviewer Spot.html
  

  To view and test your applet. Or open the file Spot.html under netscape on the Suns

• If you would like to make your applet public:
  1. copy Spot.html to a directory named .mosaic (that is a period "." followed by mosaic) in your home directory.

           % mkdir ~/.mosaic
           % cp Spot.html Spot.class ~/.mosaic
     

  2. Change permission to allow access

           % chmod 0755 ~/.mosaic
           % chmod 0644 ~/.mosaic/Spot.html
           % chmod 0644 ~/.mosaic/Spot.class
     

  3. Anyone pointing their browser at

          http://www.cs.unr.edu/~yourloginname/Spot.html
     

     will then be able to view your applet.

  Use the normal turning procedure.
