Computer Science Applying

We accept applications throughout the year. The deadline for financial aid applications:
Spring: Nov 15
Fall: April 15

Admission Requirements

Entering graduate students usually have the equivalent of a minor in Computer Science. We welcome applications from students lacking this background if they show exceptional promise. Such students must complete undergraduate prerequisite courses within the first year and satisfy core requirements. The Department also requires the Graduate Record Examination (GRE General). The Subject GRE is not required. The TOEFL examination is required of international students.

Desirable Knowledge or Experience
Normally a student accepted into the program is expected to have met requirements for a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or science. Applicants should include with their application a letter describing additional computer experience or training not covered in their transcripts and a statement describing their educational and professional goals.
