Background

Dr. Bebis received the BS degree in Mathematics from the University of Crete in 1987, the MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete in 1991, and the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 1996. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) and director of the UNR - Computer Vision Laboratory (CVL). Prior to joining UNR, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL)
