About Muse
Music theory is a complex spectrum of notation, rhythm, harmony, and language. As such, teaching those with little or no musical background can be a difficult task. The idea of Muse is to simplify the complexity of music theory in order to educate those in a simplistic yet fun way.
The gameplay works by having a set of progressive levels. Each level will teach the user a different aspect of music and each is more difficult than the last. The user will have to apply the knowledge they learned in the previous levels in order to complete more advanced levels.
For each level there is a set of unique notes presented to the user. This set of unique notes must be obtained from a complex array of notes scrolling across the screen. The user must combine the scrolling notes to obtain the desired set.
By making music simple to learn there is great potential for a mass audience of users. Thus, Muse is a game intended for all ages with the hope of making music more than just something to listen to.
