I am a Ph.D. student in the Computer Vision Laboratory at University of Nevada, Reno. I am conducting my research under supervision of Dr. George Bebis in the field of Human gait recognition.
I carried out my internship at Eye-Com Corp., which is committed to becoming a leader in innovation by advancing the promising capabilities and expanding applications of eye tracking technology, as a software developer.
I got my M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Computer engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, IRAN, in 2008.

Human recognition is an important task in a variety of applications, such as access control, surveillance, etc. To distinguish different persons by the manner they walk is a natural task people perform everyday. What makes gait an attractive biometric is its non-invasiveness, which does not involve any notification or contact with the subject. It is challenging, however, to find discriminative gait features in markerless motion sequences.
