Northern Nevada Food Council

A regional food council that meets monthly (fourth Tuesday) for food-system planning, community-needs assessment, data gathering and support for local food initiatives. Its co-chair describes it as a collaborative working toward a resilient, equitable local food system in Northern Nevada. The state Council on Food Security lists it among the bodies leading statewide food-policy coordination, and its letter commits it to introducing Hub services to its agri-food business members.
