For future work, we plan to further explore the selected feature subsets to better understand the relationships among them. Hopefully, this investigation will allow us to get some insights about the distribution of gender-related features in facial images. Moreover, we plan to test the genetic eigen-feature selection scheme using more datasets (e.g., vehicle classification) as well as features extracted by various methods (e.g., Gabor features).
