I am a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. My research interests are broadly in the areas of machine learning and computational intelligence, with a focus on applications in computer games.

I currently work with Dr. Sushil Louis in the Evolutionary Computing Systems Lab (ECSL) on evolutionary methods for finding effective tactics and micromanagement in Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games. My research aims to use genetic algorithms to produce competitive tactics and micros that can adapt to and defeat a player.
