I am a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. My research interests are broadly in the areas of machine learning and computational intelligence, with a focus on applications in computer games.

I work with Dr. Sushil Louis in the Evolutionary Computing Systems Lab (ECSL) on evolutionary methods for finding effective tactics and micromanagement in Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games. My research aims to use genetic algorithms to produce competitive tactics and micros that can adapt to and defeat a player.
